Katie Harrington, Au.D. Director of Audiology
Dr. Katie Harrington was born in Vermont. You will see her New England values in everything she does. She attended the University of Rochester majoring in Brain and Cognitive Sciences, and then transferred to Elmira College in New York to fulfill her passion with ears and hearing. Dr. Harrington went on to earn her Doctorate in Audiology from Northeastern University. She settled in New Hampshire to practice Audiology and served as the President of the New Hampshire Academy of Audiology from 2011-2012. In 2011, she earned the hearing care professional of the year for New England.
Amanda Marquis, Au.D. Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Amanda Marquis grew up in Merrimack, NH. She went to Penn State University and graduated with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She pursued her Doctorate in Audiology at the University of South Florida. She has worked as an Audiologist in Texas and Pennsylvania but moved back to New Hampshire in 2010 with her husband, two dogs and a cat to be closer to family.
Emily Troutman, Au.D. Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Emily Troutman received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2005, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders as well as obtaining a minor in Deaf Studies/American Sign Language. Dr. Troutman enrolled in a vigorous 4 year graduate program at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where she obtained her doctorate in audiology in 2013. During her last year, an externship/residency program was completed at Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA, where Dr. Troutman learned additional skills, including advanced diagnostic testing, digital hearing aid technology, and central auditory processing. While in graduate school, Dr. Troutman devoted additional research time developing a reliable hearing test for “hard to test” adult and pediatric patients that were previously unable to get accurate test results with today’s traditional audiology test methods.
Dr. Troutman is licensed to practice audiology in Massachusetts and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also currently getting her NH license to practice and lives in Leominster, MA with her fiancée, their three cats and their dog.
Jessi Figlewicz, Au.D. Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Jessi Figlewicz grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Columbia College, Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Audio Arts and Acoustics with a concentration in live sound engineering. After graduating from Columbia College, she continued her education at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and received her doctorate in audiology. Dr. Figlewicz is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and she has experience in both a hospital and private practice setting. She has an unrelenting passion for providing comprehensive and quality hearing health care to her patients and is elated to be a part of the Chelmsford Hearing Group team!
Veena Sawant, Au.D Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Veena Sawant received her Master’s in Audiology from Ohio University and she continued to pursue her Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University. Dr. Sawant has 14 years of experience in ENT and hospital settings, and has a passion for working with the pediatric population and considers working with children an immensely rewarding and gratifying experience. She resides in New Hampshire with her family.
Allison is our Administrative Assistant here at Chelmsford Hearing Group. She grew up in Ayer, Massachusetts for most of her life and then traveled for a few years following college. Allison graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College with her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts Studies with a minor in Early Education. She continues to further her education through different employment seminars to better assist our patients. She currently lives in her hometown with her fiance and two dogs Max and Belle. It’s a pleasure having her with us at CHG/NHG.
